If you have a Kohler shower handle that doesn’t turn on, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue.
1. Check the water pressure
Ensure the shower valve is properly seated in the pipe and that there isn’t any debris blocking the flow of water. If you’ve replaced the shower valve, ensure it’s installed correctly by verifying that the Handle turns correctly when pulled up and released.
2. Check for continuity between the Handle and linkage
Remove the Handle from the housing and check the continuity between all connectors, including those at both ends of the linkage. If there is an open connection or broken wire, this will cause a Lack Of Operation (LOOP). Occasionally LOOPs can be corrected by resold ring connections or replacing connectors altogether.
3. Try a different showerhead
